  • shuo - sub-500ms latency voice agent orchestration in ~600 lines of Python. Reached 590+ stars on GitHub, and the write-up about building it hit #1 on Hacker News.

  • bitclaw - self-hosted Telegram agent for Claude Code, with secure Docker execution, MCP tools, and a tiny self-upgrading core in ~1.2k lines of TypeScript.

  • Polylang - language learning for serious learners, built around frequency-ranked vocabulary, spaced repetition, and rich media. I'm using it to speedlearn Chinese as a daily driver, and slowly iterating on it with close friends.

  • SnapQL - explore your database with AI, as an open-source desktop app. Hacker News front page on Jun 22, 2025. Thousands of installs, 400+ stars on GitHub.

  • clank.fun - trading platform on the Base blockchain. bootstrapped to 2k DAU, $20k MRR in 6 months. acquired by Metafrontier Studio in June 2025.

  • Luhmann - research assistant inspired by Zettelkasten that uses embeddings to automatically organise reading notes. Used daily by my girlfriend to write her Master's dissertation.

  • Amp - Processing a multi-GB open social graph to experiment with custom feed algorithms, recommendation systems, and RAG at scale. 200 DAU at peak. Launched in June 2024 and sunset in Oct 2024

  • Poser Pulse (client website) - Community intelligence platform on top of Discord, processing hundreds of thousands of messages to map topic trends and sentiment across large online communities.

  • Atari OnChain Arcade (client website) - Worked with Stack to implement the landing page + web app for Atari's NFT launch. Autumn 2024.

  • Emitwise Assistant (client website) - A data-augmented chat bot that helps large manufacturing companies discover new ways to reduce their environmental impact. Summer 2024.

  • Grove (client website) - equity pooling platform for startup founders. Rebuilt the platform from a no-code prototype and extended the core financial algorithm to support multi-tenanting. Spring 2024

  • /guess - Simple word guessing game on Farcaster, built as an in-app frame. Players compete to guess secret words, with hints provided by an AI algorithm. Started Feb 2024. 400+ players played 100+ hours.

  • Origin Society - a network of co-living hacker houses for founders in London. Founded and grew the network to 10+ residents across 3 hacker houses spreading Silicon Valley startup culture in the UK. Founded in 2023.

  • Little Atlas - web3 meet-up platform, that helped 4k+ people across 15 cities from major web3 communities discover each other and throw local IRL meetups. Backed by Balaji Srinivasan. Founded and operated 2021-2023.

  • nn - GPU-powered definition and training of feed-forward AI models in under 200 lines of python. Built in 2020.

  • Tch(ai)kovsky - An experiment to generate classical music by training on a large corpus of MIDI files from pieces composed by great classical composers. Built in 2020.

  • SPLAC - large scale MapReduce style computation model that can be run on web browsers (using WASM) connected to a server running the coordination software. Bachelor's Dissertation Project, 2017.

  • Hyperline - A status line plugin for the Hyper terminal app. 136k+ downloads and 600+ stars on GitHub. Built in 2016.

  • StacsHack - Organised Scotland's largest student hackathon in 2013, attracting 200+ attendees and sponsorship from Palantir, Amazon and Bloomberg amongst others. In 2024, the hackathon ran for the 10th year in a row. Founded in 2014.
